After creating Drawing Board Pictures, a Graphic Design Agency, with partner Heidi Santelli, Steve Carr starts directing music videos for artists such as Moby, Method Man, Public Enemy, Slick Rick, Timberland et Redman. He won the best Hip Hop MTV Music Video Award for « Can I Get A » de Jay-Z and was nominated for three other MTV Awards for music videos for Nelly or Ludacris. He also directs two commercials for Sprite. In 2000 Steve directs his first feature « Next Friday » with hip hop reference Ice Cube, followed, one year later, by Doctor Dollitle 2 (Eddy Murphy), then by features such as « Basket Academy » or « Are we done yet ». He’s actually working on his last movie and joins Ideal Corp to develop Commercials worldwide.
